‘Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners’ was created for anyone who is new to meditation, believes that they can’t meditate, or has been unsuccessful in practicing meditation on their own for whatever reason.
In these classes/workshops, we will spend the time reviewing the foundations of mindfulness and meditation while practicing different styles including mindfulness of breath, focused attention, movement, body scan, visualization and loving-kindness.
My intention is to provide a low-pressure, compassionate space for learning, practice and support for the challenges that occur when practicing. The group/workshop format is educational, practice-oriented, with space for sharing/discussion.
