Meditation for Beginners

This cat makes it look it easy but meditation is challenging for many!
‘Meditation for Beginners’ is a group created for anyone who is new to meditation, believes that they can’t meditate, or has been unsuccessful in practicing meditation on their own for whatever reason.
We will spend eight weeks reviewing the foundations of mindfulness and meditation while practicing different styles including mindfulness of breath, focused attention, movement, body scan, visualization and loving-kindness.
My intention is to provide a low-pressure, compassionate space for learning, practice and support for the challenges that occur when practicing. And who knows, maybe it will even be fun! This in-person group will have a 6-person max.
